Active Threat Response is designed to build the mindset, skillset, and situational clarity needed to respond to modern day violence- from public shootings to dynamic personal threats.

You’ll train to recognize danger early, respond with purpose, and engage threats with clarity and control.

You will train on:

-Active shooter response tactics

-Situational awareness and threat anomaly detection

-Shoot/ no shoot decision making under pressure

-Room clearing and angles for solo movement

-Vehicle based considerations and engagement options

-Shooting through materials like drywall, windshields, car doors, and wood

-Casualty first aid - stop the bleed and trauma care basics

-Live fire drills: multiple target engagements, movement, and stress based scenarios

This course is practical. You will walk away more skilled, capable, decisive, and ready to handle yourself in an active threat environment.

Gear requirements:

-Pistol with holster (concealed or outside)

-250-350 rounds of ammunition

-Ear/ eye protection

-Weather appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear

-Individual First Aid Kit (if you have one)

Recommended prior experience with basic pistol handling. This is a mid to advanced level course for those ready to push themselves.

We cover everything from the fundamentals of situational awareness and threat recognition to dynamic movement strategies and room-clearing techniques. A major part of the training is live fire shooting—where you’ll experience controlled, high-pressure exercises that simulate real-world active threat situations. This live-fire component not only improves your technical skills with firearms but also builds the mental resilience needed to make quick decisions under stress.
