Class Format: Classroom instruction with live fire qualification
What makes The Sawmill different: Complete course material, live fire qualification, and fingerprints all done on site. Most courses stop after the qualification and assessment, where at The Sawmill we continue with further training by completing scenario based concealed carry shooting drills which is a pre-requisite for the Advanced Concealed Carry course available only at The Sawmill.
Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
-Understand state and federal firearm laws related to concealed carry.
-Demonstrate safe firearm handling and operation.
-Understand when and where concealed carry is legally permitted.
-Make informed decisions regarding the use of deadly force.
-Successfully complete the live-fire shooting qualification.
-Complete scenario based concealed carry live fire.

Module 1: Introduction and Firearm Safety
Module 2: Concealed Carry Laws and Regulations
Module 3: Legal Use of Force and Self-defense
Module 4: Firearm Operation and Maintenance
Module 5: Concealed Carry Techniques
Module 6: Live Fire Qualification
Assessment:
-Written test
-Live fire shooting qualification
-Instructor evaluation of safe handling and judgment
Required Materials
-Government issued photo ID
-Personal firearm (we have available for rent)
-100 rounds minimum
-Concealed carry holster
-Ear/ eye protection
-Notepad and pen
Additional Information
-Students must be at least 18 years old
-Fingerprinting will be available on site
-Course fee: $100
