Nov 21 Intro to Night Fighter
NVGs are required for this class and will not be available to rent! Intro to Night Fighter is an entry level class for those who are new to the night vision world and those who need refresher training. It is imperative you read the first line again. Bring your own NVGs and IR laser.
Class will begin at 3pm with classroom gear checks and inspections, followed by a basic day shoot. We will muster again in the classroom for our prep time before heading out for the night shoot. The class will conclude at 8:00 pm. During the day portion, we will cover immediate and remedial action drills, tips and tricks to manipulate your gear, gear load out and considerations for night. We will conduct white light, visible laser, passive (co-witness) and active night vision live fire engagements. Instructors will walk you through this process of knowing your gear, being comfortable with your gear, and developing your night fighting skills.
Required gear:
200 rounds of ammunition
Rifle, sling, IR / visible laser, white light attached, 2x magazines, red light (hand held or head lamp)
NVG with head / helmet mount
Active clothing, clear eye / ear pro
If your pistol has night sights (glow in the dark or red dot optic) bring it as well.
