Jan 14 Lowlight Pistol

FBI statistics say that most shooting take place during periods of “lowlight.” In this course we will focus on engaging targets in less than optimal lighting conditions, compensating that with help of a weapon mounted or hand held light. Students will shoot on the move, to and from low light environments and engage multiple targets in low light conditions. We will also cover best practices for weapon as well as hand held lights.

• Mindset

Required gear:

• Eye/ ear protection

• Long pants

• White light headlamp

• Closed toe shoes

• Weapon mounted light and hand held light

• Pistol with holster that fits

• 3 magazines with mag pouches minimum

• Extra batteries for optics and light

• 400 rounds of ammunition

• Cleaning kit

• Inclement weather gear

• Snacks and water
