July 20 Sawmill Range Safety Class
9:00am - 3:00pm Saturday July 20
Free for members, $40 for non-members, this class will introduce you to the safe practices of live fire ranges, how to break down weapon systems to ensure they are safe, and recognize and rectify potentially dangerous actions on our ranges.
This class will also cover basic pistol and basic rifle operations, so if you have either or both, bring them and ensure you receive the knowledge on how to safely disassemble and assemble them, as well as clean and maintain them. If you do not have either rifle or pistol, you can rent one of ours. There will be live fire on the flat range immediately following the classroom portion.
Recommended gear:
-Close toed shoes
-Rifle/ Pistol and 100 rounds of ammunition for each
-Ear pro/ eye pro
-Sling for rifle, holster for pistol
This class is held by Eric, decorated Marine Corps veteran, Sawmill Instructor, and certified NRA Range Safety Officer. This class will be free for all members.
