Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC)- This course prepares students to provide lifesaving medical care in high-stress, high-threat environments to common emergency situations everyone could potentially be witness to. Drawing from nationally recognized Tactical Emergency Casualty Care guidelines and utilizing professional training materials from North American Rescue, students will gain the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to trauma in the field.

Through a combination of classroom instruction and intensive hands-on application, students will learn to:

-Control massive bleeding with tourniquets, wound packing, and hemostatic agents

-Manage airway and respiratory emergencies, including chest seals and needle decompression

-Perform rapid casualty assessment under stress

-Prioritize treatment in dynamic, high-risk settings

-Apply TECC principles during realistic scenarios and practice drills

This training emphasizes real world application, giving students the skills to bridge the gap between injury and definitive care.
