This will be the third year of the OSS mobility-based shooting competitions, designed to test shooters' skills at engaging targets primarily from a moving offroad vehicle across miles of trails!
Competitors will arrive for the initial safety brief and then at their time slot, jump into their assigned off-road/tactical vehicle to begin the course of fire. Shooters will be riding across the offroad trails between 9 different shooting lanes and engaging steel targets on the move or from static positions, firing from the vehicle.
Vendors and Sponsors will showcase their products at the Sawmill Training Center, with pistol and rifle bays open to rent machine guns, and other side stages with diverse weapons!
Round Count: approx 80rds rifle (recommend 200+rds on you or in a Go bag)
Course: Shooters will ride in the passenger seat in a provided off road vehicle across a three-mile off road trail with 9 shooting stages.
Course Overview:
Vehicle enters shooting zone at designated speeds or stopping in designated positions, upon passing marked cones shooter engages all steel present. 1 hit per steel target will count. A Range Officer will be riding in the rear passenger seat to ensure the shooter understands the rules and observes all steel target rounds. Between stages shooters will unload and show clear their rifles while riding between stages (observed by the RO).
40 Slots available for the regular event, bring your guns and ammo, jump in our vehicle and go for a ride! You will be shooting from a variety of SxS, HMMWVs, and other tactical vehicles.
