Sep 12 Train The Process Series
September 12, 2026 | 10 AM - 1 PM
Preparation is where performance is built.
Following a 1st-place finish in the Men’s Elite division at The Patriot Games, Sawmill Director of Training Jeremy Yedesko is now preparing for the Patriot Games Championship in October—and for one day, that preparation is being opened up to a limited group of shooters.
Train the Process is not a traditional firearms class and is not intended to be an instructional course. Instead, it is an opportunity to train side by side with me as I prepare for the Patriot Games Championship.
Participants will step into the same style of training I will be programming to help me prepare: shooting, movement, physical effort, stage execution, and purposeful practice designed to identify weaknesses and improve performance.
The concept is simple: I’m putting in the work anyway. Come train alongside me!
What to Expect
Rather than working through a predefined class curriculum, participants will train through a combination of:
Shooting efficiency and accuracy under pressure
Movement into and out of shooting positions
Weapon manipulation and transitions
Positional and unconventional shooting
Physical effort combined with live fire
Managing speed versus accuracy
Competition strategy and lessons learned
Performance-focused drills designed to expose opportunities for improvement
Who Is This For?
You do not need to be a competitive shooter or Sawmill member to attend.
This session is designed for shooters who want to challenge themselves, experience a different style of training, and see firsthand what competition preparation looks like.
Participants should already:
Demonstrate safe firearm handling
Be comfortable working from a holster
Understand basic pistol and rifle fundamentals
Be capable of safely participating in a dynamic live-fire training environment
This is not an introductory firearms course. Participants should arrive ready to train.
Recommended Equipment
Participants should plan to bring:
Pistol and appropriate holster
Rifle with sling
Minimum 2–3 magazines per firearm
Magazine pouches
Eye and ear protection
Appropriate range clothing and footwear
Water/hydration
Minimum 100 rounds pistol, 100 rounds rifle
One Session. Limited Spots.
This is currently planned as a one-time September training session as part of my preparation for the Patriot Games Championship.
